The Spotted Moth Print

It will always be a mystery to me why some paintings resonate with people more than others. Recently I’ve been accepting the idea that I have no control over that. No matter what I think, or feel about a painting, everyone will perceive it differently. I like to imagine this is how a flower might feel if it could think. It spends it’s whole existence doing what it does best, growing, forming and then eventually passing. The flower is never bothered by how we look at it.
