Spring Loaded Original

The tulip is a diverse flower that I hadn’t had much interaction with before painting this piece. It feels like I get to know a flower as a friend each time I paint one. I now know that my friend the tulip has over 3,000 registered varieties. A red tulip represents pure love and a white tulip can represent forgiveness. I wanted to bring this flower into the world to represent love and forgiveness as a powerful combination. A reminder that it is easy to hold a grudge, but through love and forgiveness, deeper connection can prosper.
